Our Story

Hey, I’m Matt—founder of Klatch. Just a guy who loves coffee, good conversation, and great clothing.

A few years ago, I hit a rough patch with my mental health. Like a lot of guys, I kept it bottled up. What helped me climb out of that dark space? Opening up to mates, which was usually over a cup of coffee.

I’ve always been around fashion—my Grandad had a factory in Leicester back in the 60s and 70s. It shut before I was born, but I spent my summers in his garage, learning to sew on his old machines. Years later, I felt the pull to continue his legacy and build something of my own. Fun fact: His band supported Led Zeppelin on their 1969 UK Tour - now that’s fricking cool right.

That’s how Klatch was born. We’re more than just a clothing brand—we’re a community built on connection. A brand designed to spark real conversations around Men’s Mental Health, and encourage people to check in with one another.

What sets us apart from the rest: A core value of ours is quality. I used my 8+ years knowledge within fashion to design all the products myself and get them manufactured to the highest quality possible, using sustainable factories and materials. Our socks are even made in Leicester, which is an amazing way to support our local economy.

Where does the name Klatch come from?

Klatch (noun): A casual social gathering over coffee.

Whether it’s a coffee meet-up, a pint at the pub, or just checking in with a mate—those everyday conversations really matter.

We proudly support Movember—and with me being a Movember Community Ambassador—we’re raising funds for suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer awareness.

Thanks for being part of it. Every order helps keep the conversation going.

Have a great day, Matt.
